How to print on white paper?

You can print a check from ZIL MONEY on plain white paper with any regular printer. You do not need check stock paper. This page shows each step.

Quick answer: Click Send Payment. Fill in the amount, bank account, and payee, and choose Check. Then click Print white paper, Confirm Payment Details, and Confirm Payment. Your check opens as a PDF. Print it.

Steps to print on white paper

Step 1

Open Send Payment

In the menu on the left, under Payables, click Send Payment.

Step 2

Enter the amount

Type the amount in the box under "How much would you like to send?" You can add a note in the Memo box.

Step 3

Choose your bank account

Under Pay from, keep Bank Account. Then pick the account in Select a bank account.

Step 4

Choose your payee

Click Who are you paying? and pick your payee. If the payee is new, click Add New Payee.

Step 5

Choose Check

Click How would you like to send it? and pick Check.

Step 6

Click Print white paper

Under Choose delivery method, click Print white paper. The Payment details box on the right says "Print yourself."

Step 7

Check the check number and date

Click the line that starts with Check #. You can change the check number and the date of issue, and look at the preview. Click Done.

If you see "This bank account has no signature," click Add signature. You can also tick Signature under Process Without to leave the signature line empty. Read How to add signature on check? to learn how to add one.

Step 8

Confirm

Click Confirm Payment Details. Check the details in the window. Then click Confirm Payment.

Print the PDF

A Payment Successful window opens, and your check opens as a PDF in a new tab. Click the print icon at the top right of the PDF and print it on white paper.

What you will see on the printed page

  • The check is at the top of the page. It may look upside down. The page says Check printed upside down intentionally, so this is normal.
  • Under the check, a Print this Check box says to print on any regular printer and use any white paper.
  • A Deposit this Check box says to endorse the check at the bottom space and deposit it like a regular check, at a teller, at an ATM, with a smart phone, or with a scanner.
  • Below those, an Authenticity box shows a Unique Check ID and a QR code that anyone can scan to verify the check.
