You can close and delete your ZIL MONEY account yourself from the Security page in My Profile. This page shows the steps, what to do before you start, and what happens after you delete.
Quick answer: Click your Profile, then My Profile, then Security. At the bottom, click Close My Account. Confirm in the two pop-ups, then enter your password and a reason. Your account is deleted for good after 15 days, unless you reactivate it before then.
Step 1
Open My Profile
Step 2
Go to Security and click Close My Account
Step 3
Read the Account Closing pop-up
Step 4
Confirm the deletion
Step 5
Enter your password and a reason
Using the Classic version? Click your Profile, select My Account, go to Security, and select Close My Account. Then follow the same pop-ups above.
After you start the deletion, you have 15 days to change your mind. If you reactivate your account in that time, the deletion stops.
When the 15 days end, the deletion starts and your account is deleted for good. You cannot get your data back, and you cannot reactivate the account after that.
Important: Deleting an account cannot be undone after the 15 days. If you only want to stop using ZIL MONEY for a while, you do not have to delete your account.
Can I get my account back after I delete it?
Yes, but only in the first 15 days. After that, the account and its data are gone for good.
Do I have to turn off recurring payments first?
Yes. You must deactivate recurring payments and payment links before you can delete the account.
What happens to my companies?
They are deleted with the account.
